“Action without assessment is inadequate”
SHRM, Mental Health in America, 2022
Project Apollo is a Personal Mental Health Empowerment Tool that allows users to understand how they individually respond to stress all while in the privacy of their own home. We offer immediate feedback to several areas of mental health: Anxiety, Depression, Stress Relationships, and Substance Abuse.

After answering the questions, the results help the user to recognize how they are feeling or coping on a given day. Continued use of the assessment tool over time generates insight. When the user has a clear understanding of how their stress and symptoms change they will be better able to make purposeful and effective decisions in the way they live. This will help the user develop a plan that will influence the way they are currently dealing with stress and even improve their overall Mental Health.
The Project Apollo App creates an opportunity for an individual to take multiple assessments on their own. Our creator, Dr. Jon Ashton, has developed the Project Apollo App intentionally with the individual’s interest in mind. Our assessment is convenient and private so that each individual can take the assessment often and then track their progress and results. Having their own results gives the individual the power to recognize where changes need to be made.
Regular assessments can lead an individual to recognize when they should seek help and then individuals may be guided within the Project Apollo app to the benefits provided by their employer. In this effort Project Apollo and employers are a team working together to improve the experience of finding mental health resources for employees.
“Responses to the mental health crisis need to be supported by regular assessment, whereby employers monitor and measure the efficacy of existing workplace mental health resources. That way they can adjust and bolster those resources as needed. Low-efficacy mental health resources do little to benefit employees; their presence alone is not enough to combat a crisis.”

We know that companies are wanting to see a measurable return on their investment in their mental health benefits. Project Apollo’s assessment is the tool needed for employers to see these results.
21% of HR professionals report that they “lack staff members with skills needed to analyze efficacy of mental health benefits” (SHRM, Mental Health in America, 2022). We know that many HR departments simply do not have enough people to assess every individual employee.

Project Apollo gives each individual the tool necessary to complete their own assessments and also track their results. An employee’s results may also give guidance during conversations with HR leaders as HR leaders could then check in with what employees are learning with regards to healthy habits and recognition of what benefit options are available. With Project Apollo guiding the assessment and resource utilization process, HR leaders can feel confident that their employees are receiving the help they need.
The impact of organizational action on mental health– supported by assessment– cannot be overstated.
