
JON E ASHTON PHD
Co-Founder
Orosa Wellbeing is the brainchild of Dr. Jon Ashton. Jon has been practicing in the field of Clinical Psychology for over 25 years. He received a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Counseling Psychology, both from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. He went on to complete a Residency in Clinical Psychology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and became an officer in the United States Air Force serving as a Military Psychologist. He was on active-duty status during 9/11 which has greatly influenced his career. He has been in private practice for the past 16 years where he specializes in severe mood disorders, anxiety conditions, and trauma. Using this experience, Jon developed the Orosa Method, and he uses it to help all his patients.

CARL SEAVER
Co-Founder
Carl Seaver has been an innovator and a leader in the software industry for over 30 years. From his beginnings at a small farmers software service, he quickly made his way to the consulting wing at Novell, Inc. There he worked as a leader of the company’s consulting branch, and later headed business operations for the Southeast Asia area. After several successful years, he decided to leave the company and join a startup company, Stoneware, Inc, with his friends. After 12 years of hard work and well-earned success, they sold Stoneware to Lenovo, Inc., where he then worked as a chief officer. As a leading business expert, Carl drives Orosa Wellbeing onward and upward.

STEVE THORNE
Sr. Software Architect
Steve has enjoyed working in the computing industry for over 35 years. His career has spanned from network protocol definition to large scale cloud computing applications. Steve holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a Masters in Computer Science from National Technology University. He worked for Novell in the management systems group: testing, designing, and implementing Novell’s Management System software. A few years later, Steve was hired at Hewlett Packard to design and implement their collaborative effort with Novell’s Distributed Print Services. At HP he has continued working in management applications such as JetAdmin, WebJetAdmin, Federation Management System, the Digital Front End (DFE) to HP’s Indigo Presses, and Siteflow. Steve has seen the effect that Mental Health has had on many people throughout his career and is looking forward to seeing Orosa Wellbeing have a positive impact on people’s lives.

JAMES SEAVER
Legal Counsel
Graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Behavioral Neurobiology, James worked for a time in the mental health industry. While trying to expand his ability to help those in need, he decided to attend law school at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. He earned his Juris Doctorate with special emphasis in health and data privacy. He now uses his skills in both psychology and the law at Orosa Wellbeing. James serves as head of Human Resources and as the company’s Legal Consultant.

JENNI GLAUSER
Product Manager
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, Jenni spent 4 years in the Aerospace industry, predominantly working on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter as a Flight Test Engineer for Pratt and Whitney. Life took an unexpected but joyful turn when she and her husband, Jake, welcomed 4 daughters in five short years (including a set of identical twins). Now that their youngest daughter is in school, Jenni is excited to devote more of her time toward Orosa Wellbeing. She serves as the Product Manager using her technical and design skills to create and utilize a database, calculate analytics from raw data, develop the User Interface, as well as spearheading the software development.

HARRISON THORNE
Development Manager
As a frequent pioneer in new and emerging technology, Harrison has always been a passionate software engineer with a love for innovation and novelty. He has extensive, professional experience in full-stack development, blockchain engineering, and game development. When he’s not concocting code, he can be found as a colorful creative with over a decade of experience as a heartfelt music composer and songwriter. He can also be found as an aspiring digital artist, and he hopes to be an inspiring author someday. Harrison loves spending time with his friends and family, playing games or having deeper conversations together, and is a dedicated advocate for mental health. And, if there’s anything that will truly win his heart, it’s a good cookies and cream milkshake.

RACHEL CANNON
Implementation Manager
Rachel has helped leaders and teams transform the people-core of their organization for 20 years. Her work has spanned Fortune 500, tech startup, community and non-profit sectors. A former computer engineer and athletic coach, she looks for breakthroughs in the intersections of disciplines. She holds degrees in Computer Engineering (B.S.) and and MBA (OBHR specialty) from Brigham Young University, and has completed PhD coursework (ABD) in Organizational Systems and a specialization in Positive Psychology. With her Organizational change, HR strategy, leadership and coaching experience, Rachel works side by side with our clients to bring the science of Orosa Wellbeing to life in sustainable ways. ASHLEY FURNESS
Social Media Publicity Manager
Ashley’s career background is in education. She has a bachelor’s degree in history education from Brigham Young University and taught English, journalism, and history at the middle school level. Ashley and her husband, Jordan, have four children. They live on a farm in rural Idaho where Ashley continues to work occasionally as a substitute teacher at the local school and also teaches a handful of piano students at her private studio. With her expertise in writing and extensive knowledge in design trends, Ashley is the leads the marketing and social media campaigns at Orosa Wellbeing.
